At Canberra Primary School, Drama Club members develop a wide range of performance and stagecraft skills. They learn the fundamentals of dramatic techniques, including voice projection, expressive body language, and character development. In addition, they gain hands-on experience in scriptwriting and stage direction.
Our budding actors and actresses showcase their talents through various school-based performances. Each year, the Drama Club presents a performance at a school assembly, providing students with a platform to exhibit their skills. Last year, Drama Club members also took on the role of supporting cast in the school musical, with several members performing as part of the main cast, demonstrating their growing confidence and versatility on stage.
This year, our Drama Club looks forward to participating in the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation (SYF AP) for Primary Schools for the first time.
