Co-Curricular Activities (CCA)

CCA for P4 to P6 students will commence from Term 1 Week 4, with the exception of students who are involved in the preparations for the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Art Exhibition, who will start their CCA in Term 1 Week 3. For P3 students, CCA will start in Term 1 Week 5.

P3 and P4 Interest-based Programme (IBP)

We are pleased to share that our school will be continuing the IBP, which we embarked on last year with the P3 2020 cohort. This year, the programme will be carried out for P3 and P4 students, who can look forward to enrichment classes beginning in Term 1 Week 4.

The objectives of the IBP are to:

a)     Provide opportunities for students to embrace the values, attitudes and skills of learning for life;

b)     Provide balance between academic rigour and joy of learning; and

c)     Develop students to be Discoverers, Attuned Learners and Global Learners.

3.     Group Personal Accident (GPA) Insurance for Students

All students are covered by the GPA Insurance for Students under NTUC Income Co-operative Ltd and the cost of the insurance is borne by the school. Once details of the insurance coverage are made available to schools, we will share them with parents/guardians via Parents Gateway.

4.     Traffic Situation Outside School Gates During Arrival and Dismissal

Our school has received feedback from residents in the neighbourhood regarding indiscriminate parking outside the school vicinity in the morning (during arrival) and in the afternoon (at dismissal). Instances of indiscriminate parking have been reported near our front and back gates. We would like to seek the cooperation of parents/guardians to be considerate to nearby residents when parking or stopping your vehicle to fetch your child/ward to and from school. Please be reminded that enforcement officers will be on duty within the vicinity of the school to monitor the situation and take action, if necessary.

We look forward to partnering you in the year ahead to support your child/ward’s learning and development in our school. Thank you.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Sam Wong

Principal
